The Brief

The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science needed a lighting solution for a chromakey studio that had been built without adequate lighting provision. The space — 2.4m x 6m — was extremely confined, requiring a custom approach that could deliver even, professional-grade illumination within tight physical constraints.

The Build

Dragon Studio Solutions engineered a lighting solution using DMG Lumiere LEDs, LightPro 1200XL LEDs, and Autopoles to work within the 2.4m x 6m three-wall mini chromakey studio. The wall-to-wall green cyc required precise, even coverage to achieve clean keying results, and the limited ceiling height demanded carefully considered fixture placement to avoid hot spots.
