In-House Production Studio
The Brief
The Australian Council of Trade Unions, representing 38 affiliated unions and 1.8 million workers, needed to convert a large boardroom into a professional video production studio. The goal was to establish an in-house content hub capable of producing high-impact communications and advocacy video at scale.
The Build
Dragon Studio Solutions converted the ACTU boardroom into a full production studio incorporating a white cyclorama, chromakey green screen configuration, professional LED lighting, and acoustic treatment. The large footprint of the boardroom allowed a studio build that provides both an expansive cyclorama and a dedicated chromakey zone within the same space.

The Outcome
The ACTU now produces advocacy campaigns, member communications, and news-style video content from a professional production studio within their own premises. The dual cyclorama and chromakey configuration gives the communications team the flexibility to produce a wide range of visual formats — from clean interview pieces to virtual-set productions — without external studio costs.
