Barramurra Public School

The Brief

Barramurra Public School needed a studio capability that did not require a dedicated room — a chromakey setup that could be deployed in a regular classroom when needed and cleared away afterwards. The brief was to create a professional green screen environment within an existing 5m x 11m classroom without permanent structural changes.

The Build

Dragon Studio Solutions painted one 5m-wide classroom wall chromakey green and installed a motorised 4-hook background system and LightPro tracklight ceiling system. The green wall gives students a large, professional green screen when needed, and the motorised background system provides white, black, and colour alternatives for other content types. The ceiling-mounted tracklights keep the floor clear when the room reverts to classroom use.

The Outcome

Barramurra Public School students now have access to a professional green screen setup within their everyday classroom. The dual-use design means the studio is available when needed and invisible when not — making professional content production accessible to a rural school without requiring a dedicated facility.
