Education NSW – U-Shaped Chromakey Studio Build

We recently partnered with Education NSW to deliver a flexible, professional studio space designed specifically for training and communication content. The result was a U-shaped chromakey studio, built without a floor curve but with green walls wrapping around the space. This design choice was intentional—it maximises camera angle options in a compact room, allowing presenters to move naturally while still achieving seamless keying from multiple viewpoints.

The studio is powered by LightPro 40B LED Tracklights, ceiling-mounted to provide even, flicker-free illumination across the chromakey surface. This ensures consistent lighting for green screen keying, reducing shadow issues and speeding up post-production.

To expand creative possibilities, we also integrated a single paper background system, making it simple to switch from chroma key production to clean, colour-specific backdrops for interviews, podcasts, or presentations.

The finished space is user-friendly and production-ready, giving Education NSW the ability to record polished content in-house without the need for external studios—supporting their mission to create and share educational resources quickly and effectively.
