Dragon Studio Solutions
Hurstville Library
Video & Photography Shared Studio
The Brief
Hurstville Library needed a community video and photography studio to serve local residents, students, and businesses. The studio had to be versatile and accessible — suitable for amateur photographers, content creators, and the library's own digital programming including livestreamed community events.
The Build
Dragon Studio Solutions designed and built an 8m x 3m single-wall white cyclorama studio within the library, complemented by a 3-hook Expan motorised background system with green, black, and grey backdrops. The studio deliberately omits fixed lighting — allowing users to bring their own lighting equipment and exercise full creative control. The result is a flexible, multi-purpose community production space.
