Building Creative Spaces: Kirrawee Library+ White & Green Cyclorama Studios

At Dragon Studio Solutions, we recently had the opportunity to bring two dynamic new studios to life at Kirrawee Library+, a venue that’s quickly becoming a creative hub for businesses, educators, and local artists. The project involved designing and installing both a white cyclorama studio and a green screen studio, creating versatile spaces for photography, video production, and digital media.

The White Cyclorama Studio

The white cyc is designed as a clean, seamless background for professional photo and video shoots. We constructed a curved wall-to-floor transition to create an infinity backdrop, ensuring there are no harsh lines or shadows in frame. Overhead, a custom lighting grid was installed to give creators full flexibility with light placement, while LightPro 66R LED panels provide bright, even illumination. To make the space even more practical, we integrated a motorised background system with multiple paper rolls, giving users instant access to alternate looks beyond the cyc.

The Green Screen Studio

The adjoining green cyc provides a blank canvas for visual effects, live streaming, and digital content creation. Just like the white studio, it features a professionally built curved cyclorama for flawless keying in post-production. The same lighting grid and LightPro 66R LEDs ensure consistency, while the motorised backdrop system allows for quick changes between setups.

A Creative Hub for the Community

These studios complement the wide range of facilities at Kirrawee Library+, which already includes a theatre, podcast rooms, and live recording spaces. By adding professional-grade studios, the venue now supports everything from business conferences to music videos, creative workshops, and digital storytelling.

The result is a pair of studios that are not only technically equipped for professional use but also approachable for community groups and creators of all levels. With the flip of a switch, the spaces are ready for high-quality production—whether that’s a corporate shoot, a student film, or a social media campaign.
