The Brief
Studio 2 is a boutique production and hire studio in Potts Point, Sydney, run by Silke and offering videography, editing, studio hire, and event coverage services. The brief for Dragon Studio Solutions was to fit out two studio spaces within the venue: Studio A, a photography studio for portraits, headshots, and product shoots; and a production studio configured for podcast, video, livestream, and corporate content. The build had to deliver a professional standard across both spaces while preserving the calm, private character of the venue.
The Build
Dragon Studio Solutions designed and installed a studio-within-a-room acoustic build to manage the heritage building environment and deliver a controlled sound and visual production space. Studio A — the photography studio — was fitted with professional lighting and a backdrop system supporting portraits, headshots, and product photography. The production studio was equipped with a background system, professional LED lighting, acoustic treatment, and podcasting infrastructure. Both spaces are positioned for hire use, with equipment included and a walk-in ready configuration for clients.
